Late Summer Saturday

Late Summer Saturday
A snapshot of my hazy, lazy, late Summer Saturday.  On a road, near a town, by a river.

It's these days I'm going to miss the most come January.  The smell of warm dirt.  The just-lengthening shadows on the asphalt.  The warm yellow glow permeating everything as it sinks down below the trees and hills.

More to come about my weekend, it was a good one.  But in the meantime, how was your late Summer Saturday or Sunday?

  5. Funny little story actually: I wanted to go pick vegetables and boyfriend wanted to go fly-fishing, so we had an impromptu jaunt out into the 'countryside'. The agreement was that after visiting the farm to pick vegetables, I would wait in the car and crochet while boyfriend did his fishy thing.

I got kind of restless and we were parked on a silent little side road so I decided to put the camera on the ground and get to know my self-timer a little better. And I am SO glad I did, because I'm kind of obsessed with how it turned out! :)
